Welcome to St Neot’s Preparatory School.
St Neot’s is a unique school, set in the most wonderful learning environment. We are a community of educators and learners where the individual is firmly at the heart of all that we do. We aim to provide the highest standards in teaching and learning and to develop a lifelong love of learning (a learning for life philosophy). We offer a modern, forward thinking and holistic educational experience and are extremely proud of our strong record of success, with a wide range of scholarships and awards presented to our pupils by numerous senior schools. (31 Scholarships in a variety of disciplines have been awarded to St Neot’s pupils over the past two years).
A St Neot’s education is about opportunities; we are committed to helping each child become the best that they can be. We work towards achieving the highest academic standards, by developing both knowledge and skills, whilst providing a breadth of experience in sport, music, outdoor learning, art, drama and dance. Our goal is to ensure that each child reaches their true potential in a happy and supportive environment.
Our facilities are without doubt, second to none for our age group of children. The Sports Hall, indoor swimming pool, sports fields and astro pitches cater for a wide range of sports. All our classrooms have interactive SMART Boards and our academic facilities include an Innovation Room, bespoke DT and Art studios, modern science labs, IT suites and a performance theatre. In addition, set amongst our wonderful 70-acre woodland is The Hive, a stimulating and enriching outdoor classroom. We place the strongest emphasis on developing independence, self-confidence, collaboration, curiosity and creative thinking skills and follow the PSB framework which emphasises the acquisition of these core skills. Our Forest School and Outdoor Education programme are instrumental in helping children of all ages develop these attributes that are so vital to success in our modern world.
We believe happy children are successful children, and the fostering of good citizenship and concern for others is central to our core values. Our children enjoy their childhood, exploring the woods, building dens and camps, having fun with friends in the adventure playground, playing sports or simply sitting and chatting with friends.
Our website offers only a small insight to all that we do. To experience the full St Neot’s package, I would encourage you to make an appointment to visit us. I would be delighted to show you around our wonderful, vibrant and happy school.
You can be sure of the warmest welcome!
